This whole portrait series is driving me nuts because for a few weeks I am getting to know every inch of these faces, they become another family member to the girls and then what, "goodbye!?". It is so weird to just say "goodbye" to their faces, weird, I know right?! Well, it is what it is and now Krysta and Nick belong to Krysta and Nick. Atleast I snapped a shot of them before our fairwell :).

I know what you mean. Drawing or painting a person is a very intimate thing. like touching their face. these are really good too. your framed panels are excellent (I just want you to know I appreciate the work there).
I know right, most do not understand that our pieces are not just painting. Lots of woodworking involved sawing, screwing, nailing, math, etc. And for me this is the hardest part. So I was particularly proud of this one as you can see ;). It is very cost effective to frame and build them myself as I am sure you know.
